Dunleath Historic District

Dunleath Porchfest is a music and performing arts event presented by the Dunleath Historic Neighborhood in Greensboro, NC. Neighbors offer to share their porches as performance venues, and performers offer to share their talents. The two are paired, the community is invited, and guests can stroll from house to house to enjoy performances and goodwill in a festival-like atmosphere throughout the afternoon. This family-friendly event culminates in a single performance at Sternberger Park to conclude the event. There are also food vendors, a fun activity for kids, event t-shirts and giveaways, and to generate even more community goodwill, we collect food items and donations for a local food pantry.

Since it began in 2017, Dunleath Porchfest has grown tremendously, and hosted more than 60 performing groups in 2023. Porchfest has become recognized by many as a grassroots event that celebrates the performing arts, a sense of community and goodwill, local history, and community building in one of Greensboro’s historic neighborhoods.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
